Break out of your daily routine and immerse yourself fully into living an ayurveda guided lifestyle. You will be supported in achieving the ideal lifestyle for your needs throughout the retreat. Having a strong foundation within yourself is vital to living in purpose. When you become intentional with each action, you transcend to your highest potential.

You will receive a workbook designed to guide you throughout the retreat. This workbook will serve as a support to all of the workshops that will be offered during the retreat. You will be recommended specific pages to write in each day. Later we use these reflections to formulate your ideal daily routine. Your work book will include recipes, breath work techniques, meditations, and journaling prompts that you can use beyond the retreat.

Every day will start with establishing a connection with YOUR body. First, you will perform your morning routine on your own. Next, you will join the group at the yoga pavilion for an early morning yoga, pranayama, and meditation session to start the day off for success. After yoga, you will get your ayurvedic herbal tonic and a nourishing Breakfast. After Breakfast most days we will be spending learning hands-on about self care through the guidance of ayurveda.

Each course introduces and builds upon important topics that support balanced living. Every aspect that has been offered throughout the retreat will be tied together to make a complete system of self-mastery. At the end of the retreat you will be able to build your ideal routine so that you can live through your purpose in confidence.

In the evening, enjoy fireside discussions dedicated to balancing your mind and self-reflection. The final offering of most nights will be a Guided Meditation carefully selected to support the experiences of that day. Each day is built around nourishing the connection you have within yourself.

You will get out of this experience what you choose to put into it. Be supported and nourished the whole time, but come knowing that you are the one who is responsible for your growth and development. This experience is meant for people that come ready for EMPOWERED LIVING.

Foundations of Ayurvedic Living

Lets start with the basics of Ayurveda!

We will discuss how to use the principles of Ayurveda to address the imbalance that arises when we have an excess or deficit of something. This course is designed to offer simple and easily applied guidelines to remained balanced.

 

Daily Routines to Achieve your Highest Potential

Imagine giving your body what it asks for each day.

Intentionally moving, eating, learning, resting; each action becomes a form of nourishment for you.

This is a hands-on workshop that will guide you through different self-care activities. We will use these activities later in the retreat to build your ideal routine.You will perform many of the recommended routines in a group setting so you can explore and ask questions. This allows us to learn about each others self-care routines we already use.

After this class, you will be able to identify and integrate the most ideal daily routines for your needs and body type. You will also know about the benefits of different routines and when you might want to include them in your life.

Pranayama: Breathe Life into Every Cell

Breathe is Life.

It is our first and last action upon this earth. Yet often we disregard this important function as though our life did not depend on it. Breathing shallow, limited, and mindless breathes that are unable to provide the energy our body urgently needs to maintain vitality.

This workshop will focus on breathing as a method to nourish and fuel your body at a cellular level. You will see dramatic changes in your health, focus, energy, and stress when you create a strong relationship with intentional breathing. Learn different breathing exercises that will help you achieve your optimal state of well-being.

 

Journaling for Self-Mastery

Know Thy Self!

Self-reflection allows you to achieve your highest level of self-mastery possible. When you know and trust yourself fully, you can show up in your purpose with confidence and accountability.

This workshop offers writing as a tool to empower you to live a purposeful life. This method can help you stay motivated, on task, accountable, inspired, and optimistic about your goals. We will discuss goal setting for your needs and how to achieve those goals in realistic timelines. 

All the reflections and journaling techniques will be provided for you to explore on your free time in your Retreat Workbook.

Food as Medicine

Are you eating for your body or your mind?

Consumption is a sacred activity. What we eat is medicine, how we eat is energetic, and our thoughts when we consume is pivotal to our emotional and physical well being.

Living a long, balanced, and purposeful life begins with the nourishment we provide for our bodies. We will look at how ayurveda has set forth guidelines to maintain total homeostasis through eating with intention.

You will be able to use these tools to select the best foods for optimal balance in any setting.

Nourish Your Mind and Senses

Are you trapped in repetitive narratives that hold you back and cause you to feel stagnant in life?

Break the cycle and integrate healthy patterns in place of self-sabotaging thoughts and actions.

When we control our senses, we control our minds! This interactive class offer different tools and therapies to balance your mind. This method uses knowledge of the elements (space, air, fire, water earth) to identify and address imbalances of the mind.

Identify your minds "guna" (quality) with the quiz provided in your workbook. This will help you identify which therapies are the most beneficial for you. Add these habits to the daily routine that your will be building throughout the retreat.

Living Through Your Purpose

The retreat will end, what happens next is up to you.

Now is the opportunity to put all of your skills together to create your most purposeful life.

This workshop is designed to help you create a routine that is possible for you right now. You will look at your schedule, meal prep options, goals, responsibilities. From here, you can build a routine that is not only possible but will help you show up for life with more energy and groundedness.

After the retreat, you will have the skills and knowledge to observe, identify, and adjust your lifestyle to thrive as you continue your journey through self-mastery.

We have planned some trips around Bali to give you a lovely glimpse into this special culture. Release in a Purification ceremony at a sacred water temple. Soak up the sun on some of the most famous beaches on Bali including Padang Padang and Dreamland. Celebrate the setting sun at a Sunset ceremony overlooking the cliff-dwelling temple of Uluwatu, you will be visited by the resident temple monkeys. Enjoy an afternoon in Ubud where you can enjoy shopping, a visit to monkey forest, enjoy a meal out on the town. Visit a coffee and tea plantaiton, art village, and other special locations. With just the right amount of rest and exploration, we have curated and experience that will maximize the time you have dedicated to your transformation.

Shanel is dedicated to uplifting humanity through empowering others to embody their purpose. Her business offers coaching that balances professional and personal life. Sessions focus on empowerment through accountability, dedication, and setting realistic goals.
